The graph below gives information about the percentage of the population in four Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 and 2040. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The given line graph illustrates about the percentage of the population in four asian countries living in cities namely Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia from 1970 to 2020 , with predictions for 2030 and 2040.Units are measured in percentage.

Overall, from 1970 till 2040 it is predicted that Malaysia was leading the population percentage and Thailand was least populated Nation.

In detail, in 1970 Malaysia has 30% population whereas it is widely predicted that till 2040 it will be nearly 89% population of Malaysia. Philippines shows up and down trend till 2040 which will be nearly 52%. It is likely to happen in future that Indonesia shows upward growth of people . In Thailand from 1970 to 1990 it shows high growth of citizens after that from 1990 to 2020 it approximately remains same which is 30% and it will show again high upward trend of individuals till 2040 it will be nearly 40%.
