The graph below gives information about the percentage of the population in four Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 and 2040. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The line chart illustrates about the proportion of residents who stay in the metropolis area in four Asian nations between 1970 and 2020, with estimate for 2030 and 2040.

In Overview, the highest citizens who lived developed city was Philippines. In converse, the minimum was seen in Indonesia. In future, there will be Malaysia and least will be in Thailand.

Initially, Philippines was on top of the list with near about ratio 30 in 1970 and it was most uneven till 2020. this trend followed by Malaysia with minimum difference in starting year. Moreover, the lowest proportion was seen in Indonesia a little bit above 10%. and Thailand stood below 20 in 1970.

Moving towards, the largest number of population would be live in towns of Malaysia about 70 to 80 percentile in between 2030 and 2040. In addition, the other 3 countries Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia will be rise from fraction 30 to 60 from 2030 to next decade.
