The graph below gives information about the percentage of the population in four Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 and 2040. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The above graph describe the percentage of the population in four Asian countries Philippine, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Those population living in the cities in the above mentioned countries from 1970 to 2020, with prediction for 2030 to 2040. Each graph shows the pattern of population living in the cities and the description of the countries mentioned in the legend section of the graph.
Overall, Malaysia's population has increased gradually and the number of population is high compared to other countries.
In addition, Indonesia's population has increased gradually and the number of population is low compared to other countries.
In conclusion, from 1990 to 2010, there is a decreasing population pattern in each each countries. However, after 2010, all four countries are shown the up trend. It seems that the current population willing to live in cities
