The graph below gives information about the percentage of the population in four Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 and 2040. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The illustration give information about percentage of citizen who lived in cities of different Asian countries between 1970 to 2020 and estimate the percentage would increase or decrease in 2030 and 2040.
It is quite evidence for the graph is the population of Thailand and Indonesia were increased from 1970 to 2000 almost 29 percent people lived in cities. From 2000 to 2020 the percentage was also increased around 50 percent but only in Indonesia. Thailand population was a miner change between this year. The expected population of those counter in 2030 and 2040 would increased.
Furthermore, this also give detail about the residents of the Philippines and Malaysia. From 1970 to 2000 the citizen percentage were growth around 48 percent people lived in cities. But between [redacted phone] the growth of Philippines was decreased almost 41 percent. But Malaysia population was increased. The predicted percentage of those countries almost 80 t0 85 in 20230 and 2040 for Malaysia. And 50 to 55 for Philippines.
