The graph below gives information about the percentage of the population in four Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 and 2040. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

This graph gives us the information about the percentage of population in four Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020 with prediction for 2030and 2040.

Overall in all four Asian countries the percentage of population living in the cities increasing day by day . According to prediction graph in 2040 Malaysia population is increasing almost 40 percent as compared to other countries while thailand had the much lower figures for much of the period

Among all the countries in the graph every country population is increasing gradually . looking first at malaysia and Philippines Malaysia began at approximately from 30% and philippines from 32% which is icreasing day by day and the future prediction about these countries is that malysia poulation will be increaased in future almost 40 percent and philippines population incrased and 20 %.

Turning to the Indonesia And Thailand , indonesia started at the lowest level from 14 % and that propotion will be rised gradually and final population predication graph shows that it will be increased almost 35% ,while thailand also started from 19 % and it will get rised 35 % in future which is almost 40 % annualy .
