The graph provide four Asian countries information about the percentage of the populationliving in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 and 2040.
Overall, countries like Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. On the graph, there is one country that has exceeded the population in cities than other. As compared to other country Indonesia has incredibly grown from low living to second highest living.
To begin with, the country started growing there population from 1970 to 2040 as shown on the graph. As I can visualize many country are unable to acheive the growth of the country. Country like Philippines and Malaysia has grown from 30% to 85% and one down graded to 51% which is extreme level.
On the other hand, Thailand and Indonesia make their movement of population from 13% and 19% to 60% and 40% which is very important for the Indonesia which population increased.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, standing at 149 words, which incurs a penalty. Furthermore, the content fails to accurately and fully report the main features and trends of the line graph. The overview paragraph is incomplete and grammatically broken ("Overall, countries like Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia."), and the body paragraphs contain inaccurate data reporting, such as claiming Philippines and Malaysia grew from 30% to 85% and one dropped to 51%. The selection of data is erratic and lacks a cohesive overview of the overall trends presented in the chart, leading to an overall under-developed task response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The text is poorly organised and lacks logical progression. Paragraphing is attempted, but individual paragraphs are fragmented and structurally confused, such as the incomplete sentence in the second paragraph ("Overall, countries like Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia."). Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, and personal interjections like "As I can visualize" detract from formal academic tone. Referencing between pronouns and their antecedents is frequently unclear, making the overall flow disjointed and difficult to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Lexical range is very limited and repetitive. The student uses basic phrasing and struggles with appropriate word choice and collocation (e.g., "living in cities" instead of urbanization, "incredibly grown from low living to second highest living", and "movement of population"). There are also awkward lexical combinations and word formation issues throughout the response, which occasionally impede communication and restrict the vocabulary to a basic level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, with frequent errors that cause difficulty for the reader. There are major sentence-structure flaws, such as fragment sentences ("The graph provide four Asian countries information...") and misuse of verb forms and tenses ("the country started growing there population", "many country are unable to acheive"). Punctuation and subject-verb agreement are consistently problematic, meaning that error-free sentences are rare.
