The line graphes provided illustrate the proportion of how many individuals live in four different countries located in Asia (Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia) across a range of 70 years with a 10-year interval.
Overall, It can be clearly seen that in all the countries the percentage of citizens living there skyrocketed with time. Some countries wittnesed a decrease. Yet, compairing the two years 1970 and 2040 it is evident that all countries wittnesd dramatical increase.
It is clear that the number of people who are living in Malaysia is the highiest one. Unlike citizens in Thailand wich approximatly reached a plateau over the years.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by summarizing information from the line graph about urban populations in four Asian countries. However, the word count falls short of the minimum 150-word requirement, which limits the completeness of the answer. While there is an attempt to present an overview and note some general trends, key features such as specific country trajectories are only partially or inadequately developed. For instance, the overview claims that some countries witnessed a decrease, which is factually incorrect based on the provided data since all four countries experienced an overall upward trend over the 70-year span. Furthermore, comparisons between countries in 1970 and 2040 are somewhat vague and lack precision.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The text demonstrates some basic organization with an introductory paragraph, an overview section, and supporting detail paragraphs. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression. Paragraphing is attempted, but the body paragraphs are fragmented into very short, simplistic sentences rather than well-developed cohesive units. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively, such as 'Yet', 'Furthermore', and 'In contrast', which sometimes fail to signal logical relationships accurately. Referencing between sentences is also occasionally unclear, making the logical flow mechanical and disjointed in places.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The student attempts some less common vocabulary items, such as 'proportion', 'skyrocketed', and 'plateau', but these are accompanied by noticeable spelling and word choice errors, including 'graphes', 'wittnesed', 'dramatical', 'highiest', and 'wich'. Additionally, there are awkward collocations and awkward word forms like 'Thailandian' and 'Philippiness'. These lexical inaccuracies and spelling mistakes cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer uses a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple clauses and repetitive introductory phrases like 'It is clear that' and 'It is evident that'. Attempts at more complex structures are minimal or faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues, incorrect prepositions, and awkward phrasing such as 'the number of people who are living in Malaysia is the highiest one' and 'had near numbers'. These frequent errors create noticeable strain and can cause difficulty for the reader.
