the multiline graph depicts the imformation in terms of percentile about population in four asian nations staying in towns from 1970 to 2020 with prediction for 2030
on analaysing the line graph it can be clear seen that population of malaysia was increased over 75percent till 2020 and it will remain increasing around 80 percent till 2040 apart from this population of phillippines was following a zig zag trend till 2020 over 45 percent and started increasing as prediction

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by reporting data for all four countries and covering the timeline from 1970 to 2040, providing an adequate overview of the main trends. However, some aspects are under-developed or imprecise. For instance, the data points and final figures are sometimes generalised rather than precisely reported, such as stating Thailand ends up at 28 percent when the graph shows around 33 percent in 2020 and 49.5 percent in 2040. The main features are identified—such as Malaysia having the highest urbanization rate and Thailand the lowest—but the lack of precise data handling keeps this part of the response at the current level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement and attempts to organise information logically, beginning with an introduction, followed by body details, and concluding with a summary. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty and mechanical, relying on repetitive transitional phrases like 'apart from this', 'moving further', and 'nevertheless'. Paragraphing is minimal, with the main body lumped into dense blocks rather than separated clearly by country or trend. Referencing and logical progression between sentences could be smoother to ensure clearer readability.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but the range is limited, and there are frequent spelling, word choice, and word form errors that impede communication. Examples include 'imformation', 'percentile', 'analaysing', 'phillippines', 'poppulation', 'thailad', 'indonasia', and 'predication'. While the student attempts less common vocabulary such as 'fluctuating' or predictive terms, inaccurate spelling and lexical choices like 'staying in towns' instead of 'living in cities' or 'urbanisation' reflect a constrained vocabulary range typical of this level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar and punctuation is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in verb tense consistency, passive/active voice, and prepositions, such as 'population of malaysia was increased', 'least poppulation was given is', and 'indonasia was started'. Punctuation is largely absent throughout the text, as it consists of run-on sentences lacking proper periods or commas. These grammatical errors and the lack of punctuation frequently cause difficulty for the reader.
