Overall, the four famous asian counteries city population shows inceasing tread with some up and down. Although the Phillippines has sharply rise in past and future, while in the Thailland population growth showed lowest growth.

The Malaysia and Indonesia show uniform increasing growth between 1970 to 2020 of about 74% and 53% respectively, while prediction over 2030 and 2040 was 83% and 63%.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You identify the overall upward direction and make relevant comparisons, including Malaysia and Indonesia’s strong growth and the Philippines’ fluctuations. The overview also notes Thailand’s comparatively slow rise. These features address the task well, and several figures are broadly accurate: Malaysia reaches about 83% by 2040, while Indonesia is around 64%. However, some details are misreported or unclear. The Philippines rises from about 34% in 1980 to 48% in 1990, not from 32.5% to 49%, and Thailand is about 33.5% in 2020 rather than 30%. The claim that the Philippines “has sharply rise” is also too broad for its full period. More precise, consistently accurate comparisons would make the account more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs describing the country trends. Comparisons such as “As compared to Malaysia and Indonesia” help connect the data, and the sequence generally follows the years. However, some linking is mechanical or confusing. The overview’s “Although … while” construction does not form a clear contrast, and the long final paragraph combines several countries’ details without clear separation. References such as “it” in “it future forcost” are difficult to follow, while the final sentence runs together several ideas. Use one paragraph for the overview and group the detailed trends more clearly, with shorter sentences and explicit country references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt task-relevant vocabulary, including “uniform increasing trend,” “sharp increase,” “decline,” and “prediction,” so the reader can identify the main movements. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent enough to make the writing less fluent and occasionally obscure meaning: “precentage,” “inceasing tread,” “counteries,” and “forcost” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “famous Asian countries city population” and “least than all other countries.” Aim for accurate, conventional language for describing charts, and check spelling carefully. A more controlled range of terms such as “urban population,” “rose steadily,” and “remained the lowest” would improve precision without requiring more elaborate vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including comparisons and clauses beginning with “Although” and “while.” However, control is inconsistent, and several sentence structures are faulty or difficult to follow. For example, “The line graph provide” has subject–verb disagreement, while “Although the Philippines has sharply rise … while” combines clauses incorrectly. The sentence beginning “As compared to Malaysia and Indonesia” also contains unclear clause structure, and the final sentence lacks clear punctuation between ideas. These errors sometimes make relationships between figures hard to understand. Practise accurate past-tense reporting, agreement, and sentence boundaries, then build complexity from shorter, correct sentences.
