The line graph shows data about the percentage of peoples population in the large cities of a four asian countries living between 1970 and 2020, also it shows the expected population of these cities by the end of 2030 and 2040.
It is clear from the the graph that the population of all the countries increased over the period. However Malaysia and Indonesia shwed steady devvelopment while the population of Philippines and Thailand fluctuated.
In 1970 about 30 people lived in Malaysia cities and over the next 50 years period it increased swiftly and reached near to 80%. However, in the upcomming yers it will continued in trends and by the end of 2040 its percantage will be well above 80%. Similar trend is applicable for Indonesia in 1970 its city population was approximately 12% and in 2040 it will become approximately 62% which is 40% increase in number.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the overall upward movement and make relevant comparisons, including Malaysia’s strong rise and the contrasting fluctuations in the Philippines. The overview is useful, but it is not fully accurate: Thailand generally rises rather than fluctuates, and Malaysia and Indonesia do not both show steady development, as Indonesia’s growth accelerates notably after 1990. Several figures are broadly close, but the Indonesia comparison is incorrect: it rises from about 14% to 64%, not from 12% to 62%, and this is a 50-percentage-point increase, not 40%. The response covers the main period and forecasts, though some trends and comparisons need more precise reporting to make the account consistently clear and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and two paragraphs describing the countries. This makes the information easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “However” and “Regarding” help signal shifts. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Similar trend is applicable for Indonesia” does not explain the important difference in Indonesia’s faster growth, while “However then its loses its pace” is awkwardly connected and the reference to “its” is not fully clear. Grouping countries by contrasting trends and using more precise comparisons between them would strengthen progression. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the links between details could be more purposeful.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for describing a graph, including “increased,” “fluctuated,” “swiftly,” and “approximately,” and the meaning is generally understandable. There is some variety in how you describe change, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or imprecise, such as “peoples population,” “population of these cities,” and “40% increase in number.” Spelling errors—including “shwed,” “devvelopment,” “upcomming,” and “percantage”—also reduce accuracy. Use standard terms such as “urban population” and “percentage points,” and check spelling carefully. More precise language for trends, such as “rose steadily” or “levelled off,” would help distinguish the countries’ patterns.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including contrast clauses beginning with “However” and time phrases such as “by the end of 2040.” The main meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “the population of all the countries increased” conflicts with the forecast period, and “it will continued” uses an incorrect verb form. In “in 1970 its city population was approximately 12%,” the sentence needs clearer punctuation and a more accurate grammatical construction. There are also article, agreement, and sentence-boundary problems, as in “a four asian countries” and the run-on “in 1970 its city population…”. Review tense consistency, articles, and punctuation, while continuing to use varied sentence forms.
