Student answer (Band 5.5)
In some countries, majority of people are becoming interesting about to investigate the architecture and the history of house or building they lived in. This is maybe due to the rich cultural history of that craft that might attracted towards this.
One reason is they might want to investigate about their ansistors or tradition. For example, i lived in a house which is 100 years old and purely made of local kashmiri art, and still standing with the same strength. This things attractyed me to investigate toward this becauise i've never seen craftmanship like this any other place. This is forgeten secret and i want to preserve this. I stared research from online search engine and then coduct local older people who envolve in this and i got much information that i saved and sometime, i raise awareness about our local culture on social media.
Another reason is could me strength of that construction. For instance, i also got inspired by british building and during that era multiple building like churches, hospital and railway still intact. I want to know about the company and individuals who worked with honesty and the material that they used. For this pur, google helped me alot, i found out those historical firms that made marvolous things in indian subcontinents and saved this information for public.
In conclusion, people would interested to investigate historical data about the building because it has rich history or cultural association and the craft or durabilty of engineering.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions by giving reasons for interest in a building’s history and describing ways to research it. The examples of your Kashmiri house and British-era buildings make the response relevant, and you explain that online searches and conversations with older local people can provide information. However, the reasons are not always clearly distinguished: cultural heritage, family tradition, craftsmanship and durability overlap, and the point about ancestors is not developed. The research methods are more clearly illustrated in your personal example than in the second paragraph. The conclusion restates the main ideas but does not add much. The response is two words below the required minimum, so ensure you meet the task length and use the extra space to explain one reason or research method more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons and examples, and a conclusion. This makes the main line of thought easy to follow. You also use basic linking expressions such as “For example,” “Another reason,” and “In conclusion” appropriately. However, connections within paragraphs are sometimes unclear or mechanical. In the first body paragraph, the shift from investigating ancestors to preserving local craft and then describing research methods could be signposted more clearly. The reference in “This things attractyed me” is also not immediately clear. Organise each body paragraph around one distinct reason, then explain how that reason leads to a particular research method; this would make progression and cohesion more controlled.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “local Kashmiri art,” “craftsmanship,” “durability,” “historical firms” and “raise awareness.” These choices show an effort to discuss heritage and construction rather than relying only on very basic terms. However, inaccurate word forms, spelling and collocations often make the expression less natural, as in “becoming interesting about,” “ansistors,” “attracted me to investigate toward this,” and “marvolous things.” Some phrases are also vague, such as “this craft” and “historical data.” Aim to use precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, describe a building’s “architectural heritage” or “construction techniques,” and say that a feature “prompted me to investigate its history.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use a mixture of simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes some attempts to explain causes and give examples. The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but grammatical control is uneven. Errors include missing articles and agreement in “majority of people are,” an incorrect verb form in “might attracted,” and tense or clause problems in “i lived in a house which is 100 years old.” The sentence beginning “Another reason is could me strength” is difficult to interpret because its structure is incomplete. Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention, particularly the repeated lowercase “i.” Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check articles, verb forms and tense consistency. More reliable complex sentences would help you express the relationships between your ideas.
