Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: you suggest curiosity about ancestors and earlier ways of life as reasons, and mention using online searches to investigate a building. These points are relevant, but the explanation of why people are interested remains limited and repetitive; for example, the idea of learning how ancestors built a house is restated without explaining its personal, cultural, or practical significance. The research answer is also narrow: “with the help of google” is the only clear method, and the response does not explain how records, local archives, previous owners, or neighbours could help. The family example begins to illustrate the topic, but its wording is unclear and it is not developed. Addressing both parts more fully with specific, explained examples would strengthen the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is some basic organisation: the opening introduces the topic, the next paragraph gives reasons, and a later paragraph discusses research. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow, and the final paragraph largely repeats the earlier point that people use technology to find a building’s history. Connections such as “The main reason” and “Nowadays” signal relationships, but several sentences run together or shift between ideas without clear links. For instance, the discussion moves from Google to buildings built by parents and then to a hypothetical child without explaining how these points connect. Use one focused paragraph for reasons and another for research, with clear topic sentences and references that make each example’s purpose explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses a small set of relevant words, including “history,” “technology,” “ancestor,” and “buildings,” so the general topic is usually recognisable. However, vocabulary is repetitive and frequent spelling and word-form errors make some ideas difficult to understand, such as “rootes of their insestorto,” “globel villege,” and “findng the history of bulit buildings.” Several expressions are also unnatural, including “taking interest in to findout” and “serious step toward their anciant time people.” Build accuracy with common topic collocations before attempting more elaborate phrasing: for example, “take an interest in researching a property” and “learn about previous generations.” Proofread spelling and choose precise terms such as “former residents” or “historical records” where appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer clauses, but control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors that make the intended meaning hard to follow. Examples include “where they are live,” “People can researched,” and “how the house built,” which show problems with verb forms and sentence construction. The opening also strings several questions together without clear punctuation, while “before to come here where they are living” has an unclear clause structure. Most sentences rely on basic patterns, and attempts to combine ideas often become faulty. Practise forming clear subject–verb sentences, then connect them with accurate subordinate clauses—for example, “People may want to know who built the house and when it was constructed.” Check tense, articles, and punctuation during revision.
