Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address both parts of the prompt—reasons and research methods—the ideas are underdeveloped and repetitive. For instance, the explanation regarding 'mystery events' is vague and lacks a clear connection to why people research building history. The arguments are presented in a very simplistic manner, lacking the depth and specific examples required for a higher band score. To improve, you must expand your points with detailed explanations and concrete examples, ensuring you meet the length requirement to allow for full development of your arguments.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between ideas is often mechanical or abrupt, such as the jump from legal disputes to 'mystery events'. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often repetitive or misused, such as the phrase 'with the help of that' which appears multiple times. The conclusion is also very brief and does not effectively summarize the main points. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that flows logically into the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'problems', 'people', and 'things' (or 'events'). There are also several spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'realted' instead of 'related', 'there' instead of 'their', and 'Acocity' which is unclear. The range of vocabulary is not sufficient to demonstrate precision or flexibility. To achieve a higher score, you should work on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to property, history, and research methods, while paying closer attention to spelling and word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede communication. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('Majority of individuals wants', 'people... where they are live in'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence structures. The range of grammatical structures is very limited, relying mostly on simple sentences. There is a lack of complex sentence forms, which are necessary for a higher band score. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and prepositions before attempting more complex structures.
