Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the interest in building history and methods for research. However, the development is limited. The reasons provided focus heavily on government initiatives and media, which is somewhat repetitive. The research methods section is brief, mentioning AI and site visits, but lacks depth. The introduction is weak, failing to clearly outline the essay's direction, and the conclusion is overly simplistic. To improve, you should expand on the 'reasons' by discussing cultural identity or architectural appreciation, and provide more detailed examples of research methods beyond just listing AI tools.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by run-on sentences and a lack of sophisticated cohesive devices. While transition words like 'On the one hand' and 'Furthermore' are used, they are sometimes applied mechanically. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'knowing them' in the second paragraph, where the antecedent is ambiguous. The flow between ideas is somewhat disjointed, and the lack of complex sentence structures makes the transition between points feel abrupt. Improving the use of linking phrases and ensuring clear pronoun reference would significantly enhance the coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'getting knowledge' and 'know more' are used frequently, which limits the precision of your writing. There are some attempts at more specific vocabulary, such as 'plethora' and 'dinesty' (spelled incorrectly as 'dinesty' instead of 'dynasty'), but these are not always used with natural control. To reach a higher band, you should aim to incorporate more academic collocations and precise terminology related to history and research, while ensuring correct spelling and word choice throughout the text.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The grammatical range is limited, consisting mostly of simple and compound sentences. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, such as 'People wants to know' and 'government also giving'. Punctuation is also problematic, with many sentences being run-on or lacking necessary commas, which makes the text difficult to follow. The use of articles is inconsistent, and there are errors in tense usage, such as 'in early days people are not that much interested'. To improve, focus on mastering complex sentence structures, such as using relative clauses and subordinating conjunctions, and proofread carefully to correct basic subject-verb and tense errors.
