Student answer (Band 6.5)
In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in. People can obtain information from office of land records and online researchers.
One of the main reason people investigate that the house or building where they are living is safe and reliable. The people think that the place has any structural damage or gone under any major renovations. The people also want to know that the place is having any ancient history where they live and the place is having a major link with ancient things. If people think that they are living in place where there a celebrity or any famous personality was staying then it will be beneficial when they want to sell it in future. The people nowadays are curious to know the history.
There are so many several ways to research the history of a property. There are official land records with some of the government department we can access the documents from there. The other things it can be find from several online database and other things the people can access it. The main thing is to ask the information from the neighbor which are staying from long time they can provide us the real information.
In conclusion, people are increasingly interested in the history of their house or building where they live. They want to ensure that it is safe and develop a deeper historical information. By using the official land records, digital resources and online database and also from local neighbors they can gain a understanding of the place where they live.
