In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in.

What are the reasons for this?

How can people research this?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In many countries, many individuals are interested in finding about the history of their homes.

There are a few reasons for this, for instance people are taking more interest in living styles of our ancestors, like how they live hundred years ago, at that time there are not m any architects and mostly peple build their homes on their own, or by taking the help of friends and neighbours instead of labour. one thing is definete that building a house at that time were not a piece of cake, and its completion takes alot of time. These hurdles make it more fascinating for the people who wants to study the history of homes.

In this modern wold, there are many young and adult individuals who wants to know how they can research on this topic.

Visiting old buildings can be very helpfull for those who wants to gain access to knowledge and want to do research on history of buildings, furthermore, these buildings gives us the information about the old material which is used in the construction, moreover, the old buildings have a long life duration due to big stones which are used while construction instead of bricks, And it also tells about the design, which is also very usefull and make sense for example ventillation is highly depends on the design of the house.

In conclusion, peoples living in modern world are very curious about the homes built in history without engieniers and technology and still better than the modern technology.
