In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in.
What are the reasons for this?

Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent times people are keen to find about the history of the house or the building they live in. The main reasons for this curiosity is to discover past events and understand owners life. Few steps can be implied to research such as, to look into registered documents and then contacting them directly, another step is by inquring neighbours.
Many indiviuduals are keen to learn about the history of the house or the building they live in as they want to discover about the previous events occured in their home, furthermore igniting the feeling of connection and acknowledgement. Another reason includes to learn about the charateristics of owner and their personal life, which gives brief idea about owners interest in designing home along with stuggles and success of their life. For example, a data on Times of India showed that learning about homes we reside in will give a deeper connection and appreciate the house in individuals.
People can research about it by looking into documents from register office and then contacting the owners personally, as this will provide them with accurate information. Another possible method is by having a conversation with neighours who are residing their for a long period of time will give an idea about the building.
In conclusion, many people feel connect and appreciate the home they live in after discovering about its history. It can be dicovered by contacting previous owners from gaing information from resigeter office and by speaking to neighbours about the history of the house.
