In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in.

What are the reasons for this?

How can people research this?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

In many countries, people have the arge to know about past. Speacially, people are more interested in bout past housing or the buildings. They are always in search of this and from my viewpoint, it can be because of curisity that, ''Why people needed to built buildings?'' and ''How did they built buildings and houses?''. In this essay, i will try to elaborate my own perspective and from where they can find it.

First and foremost, in this new generation people develop a nostalgia of knowing the history. Such as, "How our ancestors used to live?'', "Where they used to live?" and "How it used to look like?". Furthermore, many people also want to know about the architecture of past buildings, they way it was made, the facilities it had and many more. As far we can see, few historic buildings were made so perfectly, according to the weather and circumstence, that it made builders, engeneers and designers fall into amused. All this things, made common people more curies about knowing more about past.

Now, to find about historic houses, there are a few alternative ways to find out. For instant, the easiest way of finding these things are searching it online. Now a days almost everything can be find in internet. But, many people want to experience this things in person. In this case, they can go to that places where old buildings are preserved, so that they can touch and feel the warmth of that house. Moreover, people can simple talk to neighbors or to their grandparents who used to live in those kind of houses. Furthermore, they can go to local cuncil and check property register and fing the owner or any family member to know more about their house.

In conclution, knowing more about our history will give us knowledge. For example, getting more knowledge about our old and well structure buildings will help builders to build houses like ancient time, in more advanced way and people can find many alternative way to find and know more about it.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The lexical resource is limited and displays noticeable errors that impact communication. The writer attempts less common vocabulary, such as 'architecture', 'ancestors', and 'circumstence', but frequent spelling and word-choice errors are present throughout the text. Examples include 'arge' instead of 'urge', 'Speacially' instead of 'Especially', 'curisity' instead of 'curiosity', 'built' instead of 'build', 'engeneers' instead of 'engineers', 'curies' instead of 'curious', and 'cuncil' instead of 'council'.
