Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 3.0
The response severely fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, containing only 75 words. Consequently, the task is addressed only minimally and remains extremely under-developed. While the student attempts to identify reasons ('to preserve the heritage') and methods ('ai technology and available data'), these points are not sufficiently extended or supported with relevant examples as requested by the prompt. In accordance with IELTS marking guidelines for under-length scripts, this severe limitation heavily restricts the task achievement score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text lacks proper paragraphing and a clear overall progression. The writing is fragmented into isolated sentences and sentence fragments, such as 'it is mainly to preserve the heritage. there are multiple resourses...' Furthermore, cohesive devices are largely absent, and capitalization and punctuation are faulty throughout the response, which disrupts the logical flow and makes the overall structure difficult to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, featuring words like 'history', 'house', 'building', and 'heritage'. There are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'resourses' instead of resources and 'socity' instead of society. The lexical range is extremely limited and minimally adequate only for basic communication, lacking the precision and less common items expected for academic writing tasks.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammatical range is very limited, consisting mostly of simple and fragmented sentence structures. There are persistent errors in basic punctuation and capitalization, such as starting sentences with lowercase letters ('it is mainly', 'there are multiple'). Attempts at more complex phrasing are hindered by grammatical inaccuracies, such as 'have knowladge about the place you live in to create a healthy atmosphere', which lacks a main subject and verb for the secondary clause.
