IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in.

What are the reasons for this?

How can people research this?

Student answer (Band 4.5)

Whenever you are going to buy something even though its a vegetable you always ask questions to the shopkeeper like is it organic or about the price and you also investigate by yourself like is it fresh or not so if you are not compromising on these thing offcourse how can you comprise on your house and its very crusial to findout the history of that place because its not just a piece of land your lifestyle can be affect by that place because if it is not according to your requirements it will affect your peace let say your neighbours are not good they can make your life miserable so it will be difficult for you to survive in that building moreover you also have to investigate about the house you are going to live like why the previous people left the house may be there is some problem inside it you dont know so you have to meet with the people which is living in that house before also the neighbours as well This is how you can research by meeting with people and asking about some important questions related to the land however also you have to check the official documents and verify it by some government office .My experience is not good where we are living the place is not safe after 11pm eventhough the secuirty guard by the landlord is always there but still we are robbed twice soon we will change the house.
