In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in.
What are the reasons for this?

Student answer (Band 5.0)
In numerous countries, many people are interested to know the history of their house or building. Firstly, it is because men are born inquisitive. They want to quench their thirst of curiosity. Secondly, they want to understand about how people lived in their place in the past. They want to know about culture and lifestyle of ancient people. People can research about the history by reading research articles or through books.
The foremost important reason of people's curiosity about finding the history of the house or building they live in is curiosity of human mind. Human brain is designed in such a manner that it is constantly in search of knowledge. Addionally, people wanted to know about the culture and lifestyle of people living at their place in past. THrough this they would get to know how and why the building or houses were designed and used.
People can find the data about their places on search engine such as google. Moreover, theycan ask from neighbourhood about particular building or house. Likewise, they can investigate about their house through keen observation of house or building, lookingfor minor details by themselves which can give some of the idea about history of their places.
In conclusion, many people want to know about the history of their houses to know about how people lived there in past. They can collect information about their houses from neighbourhood or through reading.
