In recent years, a new trend is noticed among newer generations to find about the history of house or building they live in. The major reasons include the younger generations connections with their roots and aesthetic vibes and memories connected with that place. In coming paragraphs, I will discuss these reasons with detail and suitable examples.

Nowadays, more and more people are interested in finding the historical roots of their house in which they live. It helps them in recognition of their identity as it uncovers where they came from and for how many generations they are living in particular house. For instance, a person may identify how and why their grandparents built or shifted to this house. Additionally, they get a chance to know more about the countless memories associated with that particular house and building.

Another significant reason is aesthetic vibes they feel about their house. They usually reveal more historical facts and stories connected with their house. Moreover, they may feel more connected to this place after knowing the sentiments and emotions connected to that particular place that different generations hold about it.

There are different ways to research or unveil truths about the history of building or house. Secondly, they can get more information from records and archives of the towns in local library or government office where records are preserved. In conclusion, I believe it is crucial for a person to know about the history of place they live in. In yhis way he may feel more grateful and know the real woeth of that place in which their parents spent their most of their lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the reasons for researching a building's history and the methods for doing so, which fits the descriptor for addressing all parts of the task. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. While the reasons involving identity and memories are expanded upon, other points like aesthetic vibes are somewhat repetitive and under-developed, and the introduction contains some repetitive phrasing found again in the body paragraphs. A clearer and more extended focus on each point without repetition would lift this criterion further.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to group ideas into logical paragraphs, using transition markers such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical, as seen in repetitive sentence openings like 'In recent years', 'Nowadays', and 'Another significant reason'. Paragraphing is used, but the organization within paragraphs could show a smoother progression rather than jumping between closely related emotional and aesthetic points. Improving the variety of cohesive devices would enhance the flow of the text.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'aesthetic vibes', 'historical roots', and 'archives'. However, there are noticeable word-choice and word-form inaccuracies that do not impede communication, such as saying 'who know about this place' instead of 'who knew', 'anyone shooted their' instead of 'filmed there', and the spelling error 'woeth' instead of 'worth'. These slips place the vocabulary performance firmly within the current band rather than a higher level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writing demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as the relative clause in 'the history of house or building they live in'. There are some errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing articles ('history of house' instead of 'the history of the house'), preposition errors ('in coming paragraphs' instead of 'in the coming paragraphs'), and subject-verb agreement issues like 'ancestors they shifted here'. Fortunately, these errors rarely impede communication, allowing the reader to follow the message despite the flawed structures.
