Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is believed that in some countries a large number of individuals are interesting in finding the history of their residential building. There may be a lots of personal reasons behind this research. I believe that many people are very curious about the history of building and to satisfy their curiosity they struggle to find the history of their homes. It enhances their knowledge and relaxes their mind.
Firstly, a frequent number of individuals are interested in finding the material used in building, when was it built, who used to live here and what kind of alternations the home has gone through. Many individuals are interested particularly in geography and material used to build this home. Moreover many people also have some psychological reasons behind their curiosity. From my perspective, it is an interesting curiosity as it can help people find about all the details of thier house and thus it can increase in their knowledge.
Seondly, it is very difficult to work and find this information. However the relevent person can start his research by communicating the elder memebrs of the society and asking them about the early residents of the building. Additionally, often visists to nearby library and reading the local history books can reveal many secrets about the local geography of a particular society. Another source to research about this to contact and meet the old labourers and home builders that will prove very beneficial.
In conclusion, keeping in mind all these ideas, I believe that it is very easy to carry a successful research by following these ideas. It will help them mitigate their curiosity and also it will incentivize the local community to carry out more research in their area.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest curiosity and learning as reasons, then recommend asking older community members, consulting local-history books, and speaking with builders. These are relevant responses, and your conclusion restates the value of researching a home’s past. However, the reasons are not fully explained: the discussion of “psychological reasons” remains vague, and the point about materials and former residents is presented more as a list of possible facts than as an explanation of why people want to discover them. The research methods are clearer, but could be developed with practical detail, such as checking property records or archives. A more explicit, consistently developed explanation of each part would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The sequence from reasons to research methods is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of the argument. However, the organisation is somewhat mechanical, and the second body paragraph begins “Seondly” even though it shifts to the second task question rather than developing a second reason. Some links between ideas are unclear: “It enhances their knowledge” has an uncertain reference, and the conclusion introduces the local community’s research without much preparation. Use paragraph topic sentences that directly match each question and clearer referencing to improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “residential building,” “local history books,” “early residents,” and “local geography.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “mitigate their curiosity,” although this collocation is not natural in context. Overall, the range is limited and several word-choice, word-form, and spelling errors are noticeable: “interesting” should be “interested,” “alternations” appears to mean “alterations,” and “relevent,” “memebrs,” and “visists” are misspelled. Repetition of “many people/individuals” and “find” also limits flexibility. Aim for precise, natural collocations and proofread spelling while varying repeated expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the clause “when was it built” and the purpose phrase “to satisfy their curiosity.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some errors in sentence construction and grammar recur. For example, “There may be a lots of personal reasons” has incorrect agreement and article use; “interested in finding the material used in building, when was it built” combines a statement with an incorrectly formed question; and “it can increase in their knowledge” has an inaccurate grammatical pattern. There are also missing articles and punctuation in places, such as “nearby library.” Work on embedded questions, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
