Student answer (Band 4.5)

In many state, more and more individual are becoming interested in searching about the history of the residential hone and building where they live in.

I argue that which people live in their home they will research about it and make it better and useful for them.

in my opinion there is no clue about the people who never research about it however there is some people they research it about the homes and old building it's mean who made this and in which since it was made the reason of the people who research about it due to that there is alot of old building which made in before 1500s so people want to know about it and explore the all old homes and building whatever made in the all world.

In the other hand, people who want to research about it they watch old theory subject and watch movie for knowing something there is no compromise for asking from elder people who knew about it therefore many people also searching for old newspaper in addition on more thing they also look for old books which made about it they really therefore they ask about the theory of old homes and building.

In conclusion, they should research about it and make it easies for upcoming generation they have to ask about the theaory also our genaration don't know anything and they also don't want to research about it therefore people should explore it and make it better and easies for upciong people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You make a relevant attempt to address both questions: you suggest that people want to learn who built older homes and when, and you mention possible research sources such as older residents, newspapers and books. However, the reasons are only briefly stated, and the opening claim that research will make a home “better and useful” is not explained. The response also does not clearly distinguish why people are interested from how they can investigate. Some points, such as watching films, need clarification about how they provide reliable information. To strengthen the response, explain a few specific motivations—such as preserving a building or understanding its value—and show how each research method could help, with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so there is an attempt to organise the answer around the two questions. The paragraph beginning “In the other hand” shifts to research methods, which gives the reader a basic sense of progression. However, ideas within paragraphs are often joined in long, unclear sequences, and the conclusion repeats the call to research without summarising the main reasons or methods. Linking expressions such as “therefore,” “also” and “in addition” are used repeatedly, sometimes without showing a clear relationship between ideas. Use one paragraph for motivations and another for research methods, then connect each point with clear cause-and-effect or example links. Ensure pronouns such as “it” have an unmistakable reference.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “history,” “old building,” “newspaper,” “books” and “generation,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and several word choices or spellings make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “searching about the history” and “old theory subject” do not express the intended ideas naturally, while “hone” and “easies” are spelling or word-form errors. Repeated use of “people,” “research” and “old” also limits precision. Build a more accurate set of phrases for historical investigation and explain ideas with specific terms, such as architectural records, previous owners or local archives. Check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “who,” “which” and “therefore.” However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors frequently make relationships between ideas hard to understand. For instance, “I argue that which people live in their home they will research about it” has an unclear clause structure, while “there is some people they research it” has problems with agreement and sentence construction. Articles, plurals and verb forms are also inconsistent, as in “many state” and “building which made.” Punctuation and capitalisation are uneven, including the lowercase start of the second paragraph. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them using correctly formed relative and reason clauses.
