Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: curiosity is offered as a reason, and asking building staff, previous owners, or relatives is presented as a way to research a property. These are relevant starting points, but the reasons are narrow and the explanation of research methods is brief. The social-media example and the claimed survey result do not clearly explain why people want to know a building’s past, and the survey is not supported or connected to a reliable source. The conclusion mentions heritage, but this idea is not developed in the body. To strengthen the response, explain additional motivations—such as checking for renovations, past damage, or historical significance—and give clearer detail about practical research sources, such as property records or local archives.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs for reasons and research methods, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its basic organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: the first body paragraph repeats the idea of curiosity through uploading videos and then gives an unclear survey example. Linking phrases such as “To commence with,” “Furthermore,” and “Thus” are used, but some feel mechanical or do not show the precise relationship between ideas. References such as “these are the reasons” and “these are the things” are vague, and the conclusion does not clearly summarise the methods discussed. Improve cohesion by grouping each distinct point, explaining how examples support it, and using specific references rather than repeated general summaries.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “curiosity,” “ancestral,” “previous owners,” and “social media platforms.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to interpret, such as “convince” for “convenience,” “aim building,” and “preponderant one.” Phrases including “find about its history” and “find interest to find” are also unnatural or repetitive. These issues sometimes obscure the intended meaning, particularly in the paragraph about research methods. Build accuracy by learning common collocations for researching property history, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise terms such as “property records,” “local archives,” and “former residents” would help express the ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

There are attempts to use complex structures, including “Due to which…” and conditional phrasing with “If an individual is living…,” but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors occur in verb forms and agreement, as in “the population of the world increase” and “the result shows,” as well as in sentence construction: “Due to which” is left as a fragment, and “The first and foremost is out of curiosity” lacks a clear grammatical structure. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are also inconsistent, with comma spacing and sentence boundaries often unclear. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and punctuation. Using a few accurate complex sentences is more effective than joining ideas in structures you cannot yet control.
