Student answer (Band 4.5)

In this contemporary world, it is irrefutable that in a few countries a large number of individuals are becoming increasingly interested in finding out about the details of the house or skyscrapers where they are stay. one off the major reason is tresurres .In the following paragraphs, i will discuss the crucial reasons behind this development and exapain, whether it is a postive or negative development with valid reason and appropriate examples.

Discussing the main reason behind this development, citizens are becoming increasingly aware of old ancient history, they suppose to find it intreseting, firstly, tresures rates have increased at the peak and it helps public into every aspect of daily life and a person become an affluent in society and also people want to live materialistic lifestyles. The reason is knowing histroy of the house through the letter or anything else. For instance, In certain situations, ancestors’ diaries showed the history of homes, lands, and people who had lived there.

Regaring the second question, i believe that this is a positive development. To begin with, individuals may reserch the history of the house by the help of the various types of equipments such as excavators, JCB, Loader which are construction machines. Machines dig the land by the help of the scoop and it presents the real history of land and buldings. For instance, after taking permission from the municipalty a person may dug the land through the letter.

To sum up, quarring houses and land is not an easy task, as it requires a lot of pressure and effort. In my opinion, this is a positive development because it provides long-term benefits, has a positive impact on a person's life, and can help them become wealthy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response makes an attempt to address both questions, but the reasons for researching a building’s history are unclear and only minimally explained. The opening mentions “tresurres,” rising treasure values and a desire for a materialistic lifestyle, without showing clearly how these motivate people to investigate their homes. The research methods are also narrow: the essay focuses on digging with construction machinery, while the reference to ancestors’ diaries is not developed into a clear method. The claim that this is a positive development appears, although the task does not ask for an evaluation, and the conclusion’s claim that research can make people wealthy is unsupported. Explain plausible motives and give practical research routes, such as public records, archives, or conversations with previous owners.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “To begin with” and “To sum up” signal stages in the response. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear relationships. For example, the first body paragraph moves from awareness of history to treasure prices, material lifestyles and letters, without explaining the links. The second paragraph begins by answering how to research, then shifts to whether this is positive, which interrupts the task’s organisation. Some linking expressions are also used mechanically. Group each paragraph around one question, and use clear topic sentences and references to connect each example to its main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response attempts some topic-related vocabulary, including “ancestors’ diaries,” “municipality,” “excavators” and “long-term benefits.” However, the range is basic and several inaccurate or misspelled choices make meaning difficult to interpret. “Tresurres” appears to mean “treasures,” but the discussion of treasure is not clearly connected to the topic; “quarring houses” is also unclear. Phrases such as “the real history of land” and “live materialistic lifestyles” are imprecise or unnatural in context. These problems fit a limited vocabulary range with noticeable errors that sometimes strain the reader. Choose precise terms for historical research and check spelling and collocations; for example, refer to property records, local archives and previous residents.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay includes some attempts at complex sentences, such as “The reason is knowing history of the house through the letter or anything else,” and uses clauses beginning with “because” and “after.” However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors can make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “where they are stay,” “a person become an affluent,” and “a person may dug the land.” Articles, verb forms, agreement and sentence boundaries also need attention; the opening has a lowercase “one,” and several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms after modal verbs, as in “may dig,” before submitting.
