Student answer (Band 5.0)

In some states, more and more individuals are becoming taking interest in to watch out about the background of the home and building they live in. In this essay I will discuss the what are reasons behind this statement and how people research on it.

To start begin, almost every country people want to pereferd to finding the the history of their houses or building. Because people saved the informatrion in books or videos thats why they chosed to searching information. Furthermore, people want makes the documentories of their old houses and uplod on social media and everyone watch the history. For example, last year Dawn News published a news report that in every country 40% people wants to perefer to finding the history of their houses. Lastly, another reason is people collect the history and they research on the first honor of their houses and how old us this house.

Secondly, how can people research on it the fisrt reason people using the google maps and this app provide a facility people watch the 100 year old pictures at the same places. Researchers used the old books of their houses and then research on it. If the house was too old then they faced a lot of dificulties to finding the exact information of their homes and buildings. For instance, in Egypt the great pyramids was too much old but researchers reseach on it. They find unexpected things in it and they explains the all pyramids was 14000 year old. They only used self brain and used the technology and they find it.

To sum up, in this essay people explains the reasons why people research the history of their houses and buildings and they will also explain how people research on it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: you suggest that people are interested in documenting and sharing a building’s past, and you mention Google Maps, old books and researchers as ways to investigate it. However, the reasons are not clearly explained. For example, “people saved the information in books or videos” describes where information may be found rather than why residents want to learn about their homes. The claim about a news report and “40%” is not developed or connected convincingly to the task. Your research methods are more relevant, but the pyramid example shifts away from the history of ordinary homes and is difficult to follow. Explain a few plausible motivations and show how specific sources can help uncover a building’s history.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and “To start” and “Secondly” signal an attempt to organise the answer around the two questions. However, progression within the paragraphs is often unclear, and linking phrases are repetitive or awkward, such as “To start begin” and “Lastly, another reason.” Ideas sometimes run together: the discussion moves from social-media documentaries to a statistic and then to researching the first owner without showing how these points connect. The conclusion mainly repeats the essay’s stated purpose rather than summarising its main findings. Use one clear topic sentence for each body paragraph, group related points together, and use references such as “these records” only when their meaning is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “history,” “research,” “documentaries,” “technology” and “researchers.” However, the range is limited and many word choices or combinations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “becoming taking interest,” “watch out about the background,” “first honor” and “used self brain.” Spelling errors such as “informatrion,” “dificulties” and “reseach” also reduce clarity. Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than repeating “people” and “research” in several forms. Learning collocations such as “trace a property’s history,” “consult historical records” and “previous owner” would help you express your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures, including a conditional idea beginning “If the house was too old.” However, the range is limited, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make parts of the response hard to follow. For example, “people want makes” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “40% people wants” has an agreement error and is missing an article or other determiner. The sentence beginning “the first reason people using” lacks a correctly formed main verb, and “the great pyramids was” has a subject–verb agreement problem. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “which” and “if.”
