These measures are extreamly important for new recidents before purchasing a place for living because the owners become more keen on selling their properties just after any criminal occurances occured on their places. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses both questions: it suggests that people investigate a property to check for past crime and to assess its suitability, and it names neighbours and online sources as ways to research. These points are relevant, but the reasons are only partly developed. The discussion of criminal history is difficult to follow, and the sustainability point is introduced without explaining what information about the building people want or why it matters. The Macedonia example is specific, but its connection to researching a home’s history and the stated reasons is not made clear. To strengthen the response, explain each reason more fully and give practical research methods, such as checking local archives, land records, or historical societies.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and research methods, and a conclusion. This makes the main stages of the response easy to identify. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear: “Hence” does not clearly show how the preceding point leads to the claim that residents are affected by past events, and the example about the archaeological site is not smoothly tied to the research methods. The conclusion largely repeats the introduction rather than drawing the points together. Use clearer references and explain the link between examples and the point they support.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “criminal activities,” “historical,” “sustainable,” and “archaeological site,” and the reader can generally understand the intended subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “look up about history” is not a natural phrase, while “thefty,” “red listed,” and “dissemenating” are inaccurate or misspelled. “Habitation” and “accommodations” are also used awkwardly for a house or property. Aim for precise, natural combinations such as “research a property’s history,” “check its criminal record,” and “previous occupants,” and proofread spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

There is an attempt to use both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional clause in “In case there was a history…” and a relative clause in “the owners become more keen on selling their properties just after…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in sentence formation and grammatical relationships sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. “In case there was a history of thefty or not” is an incomplete, awkwardly formed question, while “they can do research from by collecting…” contains an incorrect construction. The sentence beginning “Hence” also has unclear structure and reference. Practise forming complete questions and clauses, and check verb forms, articles, and prepositions within each sentence.
