Student answer (Band 5.0)

Many people are showing thire interest to know the history of houses or places in which they are living. And nowadays the number of these people is rising over time. I am telling this for some countries. We can see when someone is renting a house or place so they are asking about the history of this, they ask about ownership, construction dates, previous people living there. I persnolly saw a man yesterday buying an appartment he was asking so much such type of questions and who construct this, there company details.

The reason for finding history is that people want to know the full background of a house, building they are choosing to lie in. They research about the builders whom they contruct for know the level of materials they are using, what are there reviews. As i told about a man who was purchasing an appartment he ask the company of builder then was looking for them online.

People can research easily online about this and also to visit the people and ask them who were involved in this during that time, or who knows about this. The person which i refer previoulsly did the same. he gone to the office of builder.

In conculsion we know about the reason why people know to find history and how they can f

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both questions: you suggest that people want to understand a property’s background and mention researching online, contacting people with knowledge, and visiting a builder’s office. However, the reasons are only partly developed; the discussion focuses mainly on checking builders and construction materials, without explaining other possible motivations, such as safety, heritage, or confirming a property’s value. The research methods also need clearer detail and examples. The personal anecdote about a man buying an apartment is relevant, but it is repeated rather than used to extend the explanation. The response is 223 words, below the required 250, and the conclusion is unfinished, ending with “how they can f”. These omissions leave the task only partially addressed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation: the response moves from an introduction to reasons, research methods, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify the main sections. However, progression within those sections is limited, and several ideas are repeated, particularly the anecdote about the apartment buyer. Linking is often mechanical, as in “As i told about a man” and “The person which i refer previously,” while the opening “And nowadays” does not connect smoothly to the preceding sentence. References such as “this” and “they” are sometimes unclear. To improve, give each paragraph a distinct purpose, develop each point in sequence, and use clearer links between claims and examples.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “ownership,” “construction dates,” “materials,” and “builder,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “showing thire interest to know,” “history of this,” and “research about the builders whom they contruct.” Spelling errors—including “persnolly,” “appartment,” and “previoulsly”—are noticeable and sometimes make reading less smooth. Aim to use more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, describe people as “interested in learning about a property’s history,” and explain that they “check the builder’s reputation” or “look up property records.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response relies mainly on simple sentence patterns, with attempts to join ideas that are often faulty. For example, “I persnolly saw a man yesterday buying an appartment he was asking…” joins two independent clauses without suitable punctuation or a conjunction. Verb forms and agreement are also inconsistent: “he ask” and “he gone” should be “he asked” and “he went,” while “they are asking” does not fit smoothly with the past-tense anecdote. Other patterns, such as “the person which i refer,” show problems with relative clauses. These errors recur and can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate past-tense narration and build longer sentences using controlled clauses and correct punctuation.
