Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, in many countries huge numbers of scluptures have been found by the individuals , where they live. However, from these type of scenarios other people are being curious to know about their home's history whether it is belongs to an ancient history or not. Thus, many people have been doing research and finding a reason with the help of archielogical technologies.
To begin with, it is obvious that any home or building which was build by an ancient humans probably had an important reason to make it and this is what people wants to know. There could be a number of reasons. For example, a person wants to know about how it was made, who made it, when it was made, why it was made and what was the purpose to make it. These are the possible reasons to know about. However, some older structures actually can help to researchers to get know about the materials used to make. Also, a building can be used as museum for educational purposes. In general, more of the public interested to find out reasons because they might thought it belongs to them or it is related to them.
On the other hand, there are many ways to research and also, it can be individually or with the help of experts or technologies. The most effortless and accurate is to call an archielogist and they will do the proper systematic process which will help them to know about a building or a home. Otherwise, there is another way in which we need historical books to know about more. Whereas most people prefers to see on internet because it has vast knowledge and depth about history. These were the most useful things which could help people to research on their findings.
To conclude, There are many reasons to know about the historical things and I wrote few of them in paragraph with many aspects, which tell us the reasons why people wanted to know what they find. Also, as per the paragraph we have so many ways to find it or if we have to research on those scluptures.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: you suggest that residents may want to learn who built a property, when and why it was built, and you mention archaeologists, historical books and the internet as research methods. These are relevant starting points. However, the reasons are mostly listed rather than explained, and some points—such as a building becoming a museum—are not clearly connected to why its current residents are curious. The response also shifts between houses, ancient structures and “sculptures,” leaving the subject unclear. To strengthen the answer, explain a few likely motivations, such as preserving family heritage or checking a property’s historical significance, and show how each research method could help establish its history.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and research methods, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the two parts of the task. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the reasons paragraph moves from construction details to research materials and museum use without clearly linking these ideas. Connectors such as “However,” “On the other hand,” and “Whereas” are sometimes used inaccurately or do not express a clear contrast. The conclusion repeats the topic but does not summarise the main reasons and methods precisely. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s focus, then group related points and use simpler, more accurate links between them.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “historical books,” “systematic process,” “materials,” and “educational purposes,” and you use some relevant terms for discussing research. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the meaning unclear, notably “scluptures” where the task concerns houses or buildings, and “archielogical technologies.” Phrases such as “finding a reason” and “vast knowledge and depth” are also imprecise in context. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “historical records,” “property’s origins,” and “heritage significance” would help you explain the topic without relying on repeated general words such as “know” and “things.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including questions embedded in a sentence and clauses introduced by “because” and “which.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors recur in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction. For example, “which was build” should use the past participle, while “a person wants … what was the purpose” shifts tense and number. In “whether it is belongs,” the verb pattern is incorrect, and “most people prefers” has a subject–verb agreement error. Some sentences remain understandable, but these problems can make the reader pause. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, consistent tense, and correct agreement before adding more clauses.
