Student answer (Band 5.5)
In several nations, a lot of individuals are becoming interested to find out about history of the home or building they live . In my opinion, this trend gives knowledge about their home and some those things they can share on the social media that people can aware about it.
On the one hand, the one firmly reason is people are wanted to see a big picture about our house because they curious about those things that cannot see before. For instance, many individuals are interested find out history about the stone, how to create these things. Second reason is that, they want to research what was built on this site before because they find out those things they can learn about it and they share with people.
On the other hand, people can find history with the help of research because they read books about the history and they can met those old people, they have a lot of knowledge and experience. In addition, they can conservation with those people that are near to this. For example, some senior people that have aware about it so they can say every things about their home such as how to built it and which quality material are use it. Furthermore, some people are only read books about it like constructed date and something.
In conclusion, in my view, finding history is one of the best things because you can aware about it and you can see or listen about those things it can helps other people. Finding out history about house, many people read only books.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that residents want to understand a building’s past and mention researching through books and conversations with older people. These are relevant starting points, and the examples about earlier structures on the site and construction materials help illustrate them. However, the reasons are not consistently clear or developed. The opening also introduces sharing information on social media, but this idea is not explained further, and the conclusion mainly repeats that learning about history is useful. The research methods would be stronger with specific sources, such as property records, local archives, or previous owners. Develop each reason with a clear explanation and a relevant example, and make your overall response to both questions more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs also broadly separate reasons from research methods, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “In addition,” and “Furthermore” help show relationships between points. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: several ideas are joined together without a clear explanation of how they connect, and the second body paragraph repeats the idea of reading books. Some linking phrases are used mechanically, while references such as “these things” and “it” do not always make the intended meaning clear. Organise each paragraph around one main point, use clearer references, and ensure each example directly supports the point before moving to the next idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “history,” “research,” “constructed date,” “experience,” and “quality material.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the subject, but the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning unclear. For example, “conservation with those people” does not express the intended idea of speaking with them, and “people can aware about it” is not a natural way to describe gaining knowledge. Repeated use of “things” and “people” also makes the response imprecise. Build a more specific vocabulary for buildings and historical research, and learn common collocations such as “find out about a building’s history” and “consult local records.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “such as,” and the overall meaning can usually be understood. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, and articles. For example, “individuals are becoming interested to find out” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “they can met those old people” uses the wrong verb form. In “people are wanted to see,” the verb structure is faulty, and “which quality material are use it” contains several grammatical problems that obscure the meaning. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build complex sentences with one clear subordinate clause and check subject–verb agreement and tense.
