Student answer (Band 5.5)
House is the part of life and it is necessary for living. And people are becoming intersted in finding the history of house they live in, there are many reasons behind this phenomena that I will discussed in deatil.
First of all, people are becoming intersted in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in because people in this modern era have a access of social media and internet. And people of this era want to search the history of house to know the worth of house. How much this house was and who built this house this information will be very intersting for them. For instance, my Uncle who lived in the heart of Lahore he searched for his house and he found this house was the ownership of old mughal emperor Akbar. And this house is very worthy.
Secondaly, people search for histrory of house because its history can link with the ghoosts. May be before their residence it will be empty for long time and many ghoosts or bad animals may be lived their. This will putt a bad impact on the lives of children.
In addition, some people are writer and they have a keen interest of wrote something intersting in their diary is another reason of searching history.
Therefore, people can do this research through some ancesstors and in the era of technology can research through internet and social media plateform.
To conclude in my personal opinion, many people are becoming intersted to find out the history of their house where they live in because to know the worth, writing habbit or link with some ghoost thats why they want to know about their house properly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions by giving reasons for people’s interest and suggesting ways to investigate a building’s past. The example about your uncle’s house in Lahore supports the idea that historical ownership can make a property seem valuable. However, the response only partially develops the reasons: the point about ghosts is unclear and not convincingly connected to why people want to research a house, while the writers’ interest in keeping a diary is mentioned briefly. The research methods—asking ancestors and using the internet or social media—are also listed without explaining how these sources help. To strengthen the response, explain each reason and method more clearly, and keep the discussion focused on the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons, a paragraph on research methods, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First of all,” “Secondaly,” and “In addition” help signal the points. However, progression is limited: the paragraph about ghosts shifts abruptly from the history of a property to possible effects on children, and the research methods receive only one short sentence. The conclusion repeats the reasons rather than bringing the main points together. Some links are also mechanical, particularly repeated use of “And” to begin sentences. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each explanation to the question, and develop the research paragraph so the essay progresses more evenly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “history,” “ownership,” “worth,” and “research,” and the reader can generally understand your main points. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “interested,” “house,” and “history.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “intersted,” “histrory,” “ghoosts,” and “social media plateform,” which make the writing less clear and natural. Some expressions are awkward, including “the ownership of old mughal emperor Akbar” and “interest of wrote something.” Build a more accurate range of phrases for historical research and property value, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a relative clause in “my Uncle who lived in the heart of Lahore” and a conditional idea beginning “May be before their residence.” However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine ideas often produce faulty sentences. For example, “there are many reasons behind this phenomena that I will discussed” has problems with agreement and verb form, while “How much this house was and who built this house this information will be very intersting for them” lacks clear sentence structure and punctuation. Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “people have a access.” Practise forming accurate complex sentences and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
