Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is a field of study that focus on the the buildings called archologist and also civil engineering. Civil engineering teach you about structure of building while Archeologist teach you about the age of the house. This is the reason more and more students intrested to know the history of the buildings.
Building construction procedure varies with the change of land. Before construction a survay is conducted where engineers inspect the soil and land then recommend a construction procedure that is helpful in sustainability of building for a long period. If we consider middle east and japan, both land types are different, one is sandy and other contains eathquack. So engineers recomend different plance. For middle east they suggest sound base for a building and offer shoks for absorbing earhquack. In this way both gets benifits of larg building. Modern technology help him alot in construction but the question is how different monoments were constructed without technology.
Rather than new buildings, there are numbers of old building which were constructed without machines. Their study gives a more understanding of construction. One of the old monoments we can see in the Egypt which are called pyramids. Their structures are still mysterious. Engineeres are very shocked , how such large pyramid were constructed so accurately without technology. Number of arguments are present about it that old civilization use water canal for bringing such large block and also for setting such hights.
After studying such fields students and people become more intrested about the history of house . Some building where they live are formed before their birth that press him to know about the building.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You make an attempt to explain why people investigate buildings, linking interest to learning about construction and the age of a house, and you include examples such as the pyramids. However, the response only partially addresses the task. Much of the discussion focuses on engineering, soil conditions and how ancient monuments were built, rather than explaining why residents want to know the history of their own homes. The second question—how people can research a building’s history—is not answered clearly: there are no practical methods such as consulting archives, land records, libraries or previous owners. To strengthen the response, address both questions directly and develop relevant reasons, such as curiosity, family connections, renovation plans or concerns about a property’s past, with specific research methods.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has paragraph breaks and some progression from construction methods to ancient buildings and then to people’s interest in their homes. Linking phrases such as “If we consider” and “Rather than new buildings” help signal shifts. However, the overall line of argument is difficult to follow because the discussion moves from students’ studies to engineering, earthquakes, pyramids and residents’ curiosity without clearly connecting these points to the two questions. The final paragraph is brief and does not provide a developed conclusion. Some references, including “both” and “him,” are unclear, and transitions do not consistently show how one idea supports the next. Organise the essay around the two task questions, with focused paragraphs and clearer links between each example and the main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “construction procedure,” “sustainability,” “soil,” “structure” and “civil engineering,” and you attempt less common terms such as “civilization” and “mysterious.” This gives you a basic range for discussing buildings. However, spelling errors are frequent, for example “archologist,” “survay,” “eathquack” and “monoments,” and several word choices or collocations are unclear, such as “offer shoks for absorbing earhquack” and “gets benifits of larg building.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Build accuracy by checking spelling and choosing natural phrases, such as “earthquake-resistant foundations” or “historical records,” and use vocabulary directly relevant to researching a home’s past.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “where engineers inspect the soil and land” and a conditional opening with “If we consider.” However, the range is limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “a field of study that focus,” “Civil engineering teach,” and “both gets benifits,” where subject–verb agreement is faulty. Articles and sentence construction also need attention: “in the Egypt” and “one of the old monoments we can see in the Egypt” are not formed accurately, while “Some building where they live are formed before their birth that press him” is difficult to follow. Practise accurate agreement, articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
