Student answer (Band 5.0)

In current era, citizens are more lure towards knowing the history of there living because it gives a connection to that house. they can felt more connected with the house.it also give them a record of ownership of there belonging house.

One of the main reason for that they can able to feel more connected towards their properties, also it can give them a historic connection of there properties. people had fomo that they are not the part of any historical moment, so they had to inqure that if there belonging had any connection with historical movement, than they can feel more connected toward that building. For instance, now days people are so much keen towords historical event and finding there house as the witness of that events give them a that precious feeling of owning something. It gives them a distinction.

In current time, anyone wants to know history about there belonging properties than they can reach to nearest government office who has a geological data. they had a record of the properties they can able to give you records. Although, in some cases they also do not able to give the record. in that case you may ask the local about history of the buildings or house.

In my opinion, people need to know the historical of building or house as it can able to give you the record of that property and they able to marks any red marker on that property or not. if there they they are aware of that earlier.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: you suggest that people want a historical connection to their homes, and you mention government records and asking local residents as research methods. The example of a house being a witness to historical events helps illustrate the first reason. However, the response only partially develops the task. The reasons are largely repeated as “feel more connected,” while the claim about ownership records is not clearly explained. The research section is brief and gives little detail about what records to request or how to use them. The final paragraph introduces “red marker” without explaining what this means, and your overall position is not clearly summarised. Develop distinct reasons and explain each research method with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the opening introduces the topic, the next paragraph focuses on reasons, and a later paragraph discusses research. This gives the reader a basic sense of the response’s parts. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and ideas are repeated rather than developed. For example, “more connected” and “historic connection” recur without a clear distinction. Linking words such as “also,” “although,” and “in that case” are used, but some connections are difficult to follow, particularly the shift from government records to local residents. The final paragraph does not clearly conclude the discussion. Use one focused paragraph for each question, order points logically, and make references such as “they” and “that property” unambiguous.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “historical connection,” “record of ownership,” “government office,” and “historical event.” These choices show an effort to discuss the subject beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or awkward expressions make meaning harder to understand, such as “more lure towards,” “geological data,” and “historical movement.” Spelling and word-form errors are also noticeable, including “there” for “their,” “inquire,” and “towords.” Some phrases are repeated, especially “connected” and “properties.” Build a more precise set of terms for researching buildings, such as property archives, land records, previous owners, and local history, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both short statements and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “so,” and “although.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, the range remains limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Examples include “they can felt more connected,” “it also give them,” and “anyone wants to know history … than they can reach,” where verb forms, agreement, or clause structure are incorrect. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “the history” and “one of the main reason.” Punctuation and capitalisation errors, including sentence starts such as “they” and “people,” further affect readability. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using correctly formed subordinate clauses.
