Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many part of the world, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or the building they lived has become an interesting serious concern. This issue can lead to several negative concerquences, but several measure can be taken to address it.
One of the main reason that people are becoming interested in finding out history of the place they live because they wanting to know the background of their ancestors. They wanted to know that how their ancestor make the place they live now a days. They are interested in it because everyone is connect with their family emotionally they wanted to know what problems their family face while making the place and what sacrifies they do to make the place. These are the some reasons but it lead to some negative points like as we now in ancient time people fought for the places and kill each other and occupied their places. Now if people find out the history and come to know that who killed my ancestor not all but some started fight with them it is a drawback of this.
Furthermore, the people came to know about their places history from internet or from books that are written or go to the government plateforms that government made for land that may be help them. The biggest claues that help them in his research that they can get from their relatives and their from their grandfather etc. This is how they can do research on it.
In coclusion, somehow it is good to know about the history of the place people are living and to know the history of their ancestors but it can causes a problems such as how are the rivals of the ancestors how occupied their places how then they started fights again so it can lead to serious problems somehow.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that people want to understand their ancestors’ connection to a home, and you mention relatives, books, the internet and government land records as research sources. These are relevant ideas, but the reasons are developed narrowly, with most of the explanation focused on family history and possible conflict over past ownership. The response also introduces “negative consequences” as its main framing, although the task asks for reasons and research methods, so this emphasis distracts from fully answering it. The research methods are listed but not explained with examples of how someone might use them. Develop a wider range of reasons and explain each research method more clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to reasons, research methods and a conclusion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph shifts from family curiosity to historical violence, while the final paragraph repeats the concern about conflict rather than drawing the main answers together. Linking phrases such as “One of the main reason,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” signal stages, but some connections are awkward or repetitive, and references such as “it” and “them” are not always clear. Organise the body into distinct paragraphs for reasons and research, and use clearer links between each claim and its explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “ancestors,” “government platforms,” “land” and “research,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make the writing less clear, such as “negative concerquences,” “sacrifies,” “claues” and “coclusion.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “serious concern” for an interest and “government plateforms that government made for land.” Repeated use of “place,” “people” and “history” further limits precision. Build a more varied set of accurate terms for property records and historical sources, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “while,” but complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of frequent errors. Examples include “One of the main reason … because they wanting,” “They wanted to know that how,” and “everyone is connect with their family.” There are also problems with agreement, tense, articles and sentence boundaries, as in “several measure can be taken” and the long sentence beginning “They are interested in it because…”. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed subordinate clause, then check verb forms, singular/plural agreement and punctuation.
