Student answer (Band 6.5)
Number of people work for long time on each day that is why they are unable to give time for their leisure activities. This has both positive and negative outcomes on their life like pron they will get handsome salary and honor in society whereas cons with the time they forgot to take care of themselves so according to me balance is crucial in our life.
To begin with, By working long time of period they can earn good money to fulfill own personal demands and definatly get another level of satisfaction. in fact WHO the world health organazation revealed that those who are stay busy in their work, have 85 percent less chance to caught by depression and overthinking because they do not have time to think about past that is why their is few moments when they feel guilt of their past mistakes as result busy life is key of stay focused and healthy mental health.
moreover, if you work hard you automatically get respect in this word everybody see you as perfect human being in fact that is what hard workers deserve because their are doing something different from rest of population even this is not need any explanation happening from centuries so for sure when you work for long you are creating your good picture in front of your community.
No dabut working for long time is great thing but most of people lack in living for their self for example people forget to take care of their health things like not eat proper diet even not doing any kind of exercise which furtur push them towards coronic health problems so at the end it is our responsibility to stay fit because hard work will be become worthless if we got death in early stage of life without enjoying it.
In conclusion, balance in life is very important we can not live good life by doing work whole time period or niether only focus on leisure activities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of working long hours. You clearly state your position that a balance is necessary. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While you provide reasons for the advantages, such as financial gain and social respect, the supporting evidence—specifically the reference to the WHO—is not clearly explained or logically connected to the argument. The disadvantages are mentioned but could be expanded with more specific examples beyond general health concerns. To improve, ensure that each point is fully explored with clear, logical reasoning rather than relying on unsupported claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'moreover', and 'In conclusion' to signal transitions. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For instance, the jump from discussing financial satisfaction to the WHO study is abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, such as the use of 'this' or 'that' without a clear antecedent. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate to convey your meaning, but it lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of incorrect word choice or non-standard collocations, such as 'caught by depression' instead of 'suffering from depression' and 'creating your good picture' instead of 'building a positive reputation'. Spelling errors like 'definatly', 'organazation', 'dabut', and 'coronic' also occur. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and using more sophisticated, topic-specific vocabulary accurately, while paying closer attention to spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'their is few moments'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'if we got death'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with run-on sentences and missing commas that make some parts difficult to read. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction limits the score. Focusing on sentence boundaries and basic grammatical accuracy will significantly improve your writing.
