Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you have identified some advantages, you have completely ignored the 'disadvantages' aspect of the prompt, resulting in a one-sided argument. The task asks whether there are more advantages or disadvantages, implying a need for a balanced discussion or a clear, justified stance. Because the response is under-length and lacks a discussion of the opposing view, the development of ideas is limited and the task is only partially addressed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as 'Every coin has two side' and 'Here we talk about advantages.' The progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed due to the lack of sufficient supporting detail and the brevity of the text. While there is an attempt to use linking words like 'On the one hand' and 'Furthermore,' the overall flow is hindered by the limited development of the arguments and the repetitive nature of the sentences.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, often relying on simple phrases like 'work hard' and 'earn more money.' There are several spelling errors, such as 'fullfill,' 'alot,' 'successfull,' and 'bussiness.' The range of vocabulary is limited, which prevents you from expressing more complex ideas or nuances regarding the topic. To improve, you should focus on using more precise terminology related to employment, career progression, and work-life balance, and pay closer attention to spelling accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('society also give respect,' 'individual is employee') and missing articles. Sentence structures are generally simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors, such as 'people who work alot and hard work they can true their dreams.' Punctuation is also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic structures limits the score. You need to focus on sentence construction and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy.
