Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is thought by the section of society, nowadays, people are more likely to spend more time on their work places instead of going outside for outdoors activities ; however, I think that this issue comes with more demerits in the terms of family disputes and mental health issues.
To begin with, spending more time on the work brings some negativity inside the people. As nowadays, inflation is increasing day by day that's why human beings are always indulge in their work. whenever, they have a chance to work more on their workplace, they would like to do it in order to earn more money ; resultantly, people spend less time with their family members due to they are unable to talk with them properly. which leads to increase fights between family members and their bonding is decreasing day by day.
Moreover, People leaving very less time for leisure activities. Because they want to do work more for their organization for getting promotion. Owing to they spend 10 hours on their workplace for completing company's target which is why, they are suffering from various health hazards such as depression, anxiety and stress. If they will give more time to the outdoor activities, they will feel stressfree and they will also get a break from their work; resultantly they will become more productive and put more efforts for completing their work within the short time interval.
To conclude, even though people spend more time on work and give less time to the outdoors activities, I believe that it has more disadvantages which include less productive and feel stressed on the workplace and less family bonding.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the situation has more disadvantages. The ideas regarding family disputes and mental health are relevant and logically linked to the prompt. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument about productivity is mentioned but not fully explored in terms of its broader impact. While the task is addressed, the supporting points could be more detailed to reach a higher band. The conclusion effectively restates the position, but the overall development remains at a basic level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. There is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the use of 'resultantly' and 'owing to' in contexts where they do not fit naturally. Additionally, some sentences are fragmented or lack smooth transitions, which occasionally disrupts the flow of ideas. The logical progression is present but could be improved with more varied and precise linking words.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is some repetition of basic terms like 'work', 'time', and 'activities'. Some collocations are unnatural, such as 'negativity inside the people' or 'human beings are always indulge'. While the meaning is clear, the lack of sophisticated or idiomatic language limits the score. To improve, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that word choices are appropriate for the context of a formal essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people... is increasing'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'due to they are unable to talk'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before semicolons and periods. While these errors do not completely prevent communication, they are frequent enough to cause some difficulty for the reader and indicate a lack of control over complex structures.
