Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by identifying the issue of long working hours and taking a clear position that there are more disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention stress and health issues, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-supported examples. The introduction is somewhat repetitive and contains awkward phrasing, such as 'chilling activities,' which does not fully convey the seriousness of the topic. To improve, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-explained point supported by a concrete example that directly relates to the negative impact of long working hours on personal well-being or family life.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'In addition to these' and 'Aslo speding time.' There are instances where the logical flow is disrupted by grammatical errors and awkward transitions between sentences. For example, the transition from the introduction to the body paragraphs is abrupt. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one to create a smoother progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, with frequent spelling errors that occasionally impede readability, such as 'fast-past' instead of 'fast-paced,' 'frusatrated,' 'schduale,' and 'relexs.' You rely on basic vocabulary, and there is a lack of precision in word choice. For instance, 'chilling activities' is informal and imprecise for an IELTS essay. To improve, you should work on expanding your range of vocabulary to include more academic or formal terms and pay closer attention to spelling and correct word forms. Using more precise collocations would significantly enhance the quality of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There is a high frequency of grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('there more negative side'), incorrect verb forms ('taken an break,' 'doing playtime'), and missing articles or incorrect prepositions. Sentence structures are generally simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors that make the meaning unclear. For example, 'Where person might feel not well for whole day' is grammatically incorrect. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles. Proofreading for common errors like 'there/their' and verb tense consistency is essential.
