Student answer (Band 6.0)
In thera of high paced society, working hours take most of the time of the person and left a small period to enjoy any other freely moment. Which somehow leave many pros and cons to individual life. According to me by doing this have more bad impact on human's life. This easy will discuss both advantages and disadvantages to spend more time on work.
The first and foremost reason is, spend most of the time at work leaves significant impression on human health. To be more specific, people working on long 16 hour shifts daily, which make their body tired and restless. At the end, they cannot give their full attention to their commitments which low confidence and self esteem of the person. Secondly, running to do every task for long period leave disturbance in family relation too. For instance, Nowdays both parents working endlessly to give good education and future to their children. Which make them to spend little time with their children, and they miss those special moment of their life.
On the other hand, engaging most of time in work will give you financial stability and professional growth as well. To explain this, people who like to stay long at their office to fulfil their duties, they know each and tiny details of their work. They are expert in their field which gives them timely promotion. Hence, they can support their family without any stress.
In my opinion, enjoying little moment of your life is more important rather than working nonstop, at the end we work to eat and enjoy life with our loved one not to stay in small office setting stressing ourselves daily for more overtime.
In conclusion, Although performing task for longer shift gives stability in career or expenses yet spare yourself some time to enjoy life properly is more important to live happy.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing a clear position that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. The ideas are relevant, such as the impact on physical health and family relationships, as well as the counter-argument regarding financial stability. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation of how long hours affect family life is a bit brief. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on your examples with more depth and nuance. The position is consistent throughout the essay, and the conclusion effectively summarizes your stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a progression of ideas, moving from the negative impacts to the positive aspects, and finally to your personal opinion. You use some cohesive devices like 'The first and foremost reason', 'Secondly', and 'On the other hand'. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'Which somehow leave many pros and cons'. Additionally, there are some issues with referencing and sentence-level cohesion that occasionally make the flow feel a bit disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words would enhance the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'financial stability', 'professional growth', and 'self-esteem'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward phrasing, such as 'In thera of high paced society' (in the era of a fast-paced society) and 'enjoy any other freely moment' (free moments). There are also some minor spelling errors and issues with collocations. To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('working hours take... and left', 'Which somehow leave'), article usage, and sentence fragments ('Which make them to spend little time'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally require the reader to re-read to understand the intended meaning. To achieve a higher band, you need to focus on improving the accuracy of your complex structures and ensuring consistent control over basic grammar, such as verb tenses and pluralization.
