Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the disadvantages of working long hours, such as health issues and eye strain, and briefly touches upon advantages. However, the position is slightly confused at the beginning with phrasing like "Numberable, human doing work for many hours," which obscures the central argument. Furthermore, the length requirement of 250 words has not been met, as the response contains only 202 words. This under-length impacts the full development of ideas, leading to a penalty under Task Achievement. While some relevant examples such as obesity and eye strain are provided, they remain under-developed due to the brevity of the text. Consequently, this performance aligns with Band 4.0 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The text is organized into paragraphs with basic introduction, body, and conclusion structures, yet overall progression is hindered by awkward phrasing and lack of logical connections. Cohesive devices are either missing or misused, such as "To begin with," followed by disjointed sentences, and "On the other hand," which introduces a contradictory or confusing shift regarding physical fitness and yoga. Referencing is frequently unclear, notably in sentences like "started many issues about bad sitting plan" and "these habits is very fruitful," where the antecedent is ambiguous. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within sentences is weak, preventing the response from achieving a higher score and placing it firmly at Band 4.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent lexical errors that strain the reader's understanding. Phrases such as "Numberable, human doing work," "focuse on your health," and "eyesight be come weak" demonstrate a very limited range and poor control of collocation and word choice. There are also noticeable spelling and word form errors, such as "continous," "seates," "stratched," and "relex." Although the writer attempts some less common words like "energy" and "obesity," inaccuracies in context and formation prevent successful communication in several instances. This vocabulary profile corresponds to Band 4.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of simple and heavily flawed complex sentence attempts. There is a persistent lack of control over basic syntax, subject-verb agreement, and articles, as seen in "every human are busy," "humans feel more energetic," and "lot of human have a different mindset." Punctuation and sentence boundaries are also problematic, resulting in fragmented thoughts and clauses that impede comprehension. The majority of sentences contain major structural errors, matching the criteria for Band 4.0 where errors are frequent and often distort meaning.
