Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You address the topic by identifying both potential benefits and drawbacks, including income and experience on one side and health and relationships on the other. However, the response does not clearly answer whether the disadvantages outweigh the advantages: the introduction says there are “many disadvantages,” but the essay ends before reaching a conclusion. The supporting points are also brief; for example, the health paragraph mentions posture and vision but does not explain their wider impact, while the benefits are listed rather than illustrated. The response is 183 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250 words. Develop each main point with explanation or a relevant example, and finish with a clear, consistent judgement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic structure: an introduction followed by paragraphs presenting disadvantages and advantages. Linking phrases such as “On one hand,” “On another hand,” and “Moreover” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, progression is limited, and the final “Moreover, working” is an unfinished fragment that leaves the essay without a proper ending. Some connections are also unclear: “Although” introduces a contrast that is not completed effectively, and the second body paragraph shifts between money, experience, and colleagues without developing their relationship. Use a clear sequence of topic sentence, explanation, and example in each paragraph, then add a conclusion that restates your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a limited but relevant range of vocabulary, including “physical health,” “personal life,” “experience,” and “trusted,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are attempts at more specific language, such as “body posture” and “vision related problems,” but several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, including “realationship,” “infornt,” “fetal,” and “perks.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “involving with any activity fo a longer period” and “learn more thing at work.” Aim to use accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for workplace demands, health consequences, and family relationships would help you explain your ideas with greater clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “which in future can turn fetal” and a contrast beginning with “Although.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “Working a long hours can help earn more money and shows ones hard effort” has problems with articles, agreement, and sentence structure; “this have many disadvantages” also has subject–verb disagreement. The sentence beginning “Although” is not punctuated or completed appropriately. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, plural forms, and complete sentence construction. Shorter, carefully checked sentences will help you express the ideas reliably.
