Student answer (Band 5.0)
Individuals are working longer time as compare to spending time on their leisure activities. However, I believe its good thing to spend more time on work rather then leisure activities. Reasons of its advantages are explained in the coming paragraphs.
To begin with, there are many reasons of working longer hours is good. The main reason is, it helps to make people financialy good. If people will be good from their pockets then automaticly they will be stay calm and relex owing to know they have good money. For example, when, I was working full time for longer hours then I had enough money and I was so happy about it. Hence, work is so important rather then anything else. It helps to fullfil dreams and goals in life without work its impossible to achive goals in life. In short words work is everthing in this era.
Moreove, working full time keeps busy that creats value of once in others life. Such as, when people have nothing to do nobody cares about them, but when they disapper or working whole the time then they realise their importance in their absence. So, work is very important in life rather then spending free time. Likewise, in these days everything is so expensive and normal worker can not servive in low budget. A good sourse of income is crucial in life to make families happy and take care of them.
In conclusion, full time work is necessary in life to servive in this world and to make a good and better life

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that working longer hours has more advantages, and your points about income, meeting family needs and achieving goals are relevant to the question. However, the response addresses the comparison only partially: it argues for work but does not explain what is lost when leisure time is limited or why the advantages outweigh those disadvantages. Several claims are asserted rather than developed, such as the idea that being busy makes others value you. The personal example about earning enough money is relevant, but it needs more detail to show how it supports your position. To strengthen the response, compare both sides directly and explain the consequences of reduced leisure before reaching a reasoned conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is uneven: the first moves from financial security to dreams and goals, while the second shifts from being valued by others to the cost of living and family support without clearly connecting these ideas. Some linking is repetitive, particularly the repeated claim that work is more important than free time. Use topic sentences that state one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving on; clearer links between each example and the central argument would make the organisation more effective.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial,” “income,” “crucial,” “goals,” and “take care of them.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, such as “good thing,” “good from their pockets,” and “work is everything.” There are also frequent spelling errors, including “financialy,” “automaticly,” “relex,” “achive,” and “servive,” which make the writing less fluent to read. Some word combinations are unnatural, for example “make people financialy good” and “creats value of once in others life.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing earnings, wellbeing and work-life balance, and check spelling and collocation carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the main message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited, and attempts at complex structures often contain errors that make the reader pause. For example, “there are many reasons of working longer hours is good” has an incorrect clause structure, while “If people will be good from their pockets then automaticly they will be stay calm” combines an unsuitable conditional form with an incorrect verb pattern. Other issues include “Individuals are working longer time” and “working full time keeps busy,” where articles or sentence elements are missing. Practise building accurate clauses with “because,” “if,” and “when,” and check subject–verb patterns and verb forms before adding more complex ideas.
