You have seen an advertisement from a couple, who live in Australia, for someone to teach their two children your language for a year. Write a letter to the couple. In your letter

• explain why you think you would be suitable for the job
• say what else you could do for the family
• give your reasons for wanting the job

Dear Mr.and Mrs. Kapoor,

I am writing this letter to you as I saw an advertisement that you are looking for a teacher to teach punjabi language to your children.

My name is Aman Dhaliwal and I finished my bachelors in Punjabi and English literature from Punjabi university Patiala. I am living in Australia since 3 years and after completed my post gratuate diploma in Early Childhood ,I am working in a school as a teacher. As I can speak and write both english and punjabi languages, so I will be the better option for your children.

Moreover, I am living near your address, so time and distance will be not a problem. I can teach them any time after my work according to your flexibility and they can come to my house if you have work or some other chores to do.

I would appreciate if u choose me for this position as I feel so detached from my roots because I have to use English on my daily basis and surely I need the money also.
