• explain why you think you would be suitable for the job
• say what else you could do for the family
• give your reasons for wanting the job

Dear Mr. Kevin,

I am writing to you in the response of your advertisement regarding Punjabi Language Tutor which you need for your kids.

I am Jagdeep Kaur living near the Newton town in your city. I have the five years of teaching experience as a Punjabi literacy teacher in my home country India I would be able to teach your chidren from basics as they do not know the singal word of my language. Moreover, I am available on weekends as you mentioned in advertisement that you need tutor only for weekends.

One more favour I can provide you is that I can provide pick and drop service to yours kids as I am living nearby your area so, you would not need to worry about that and you can enjoy your weekends with friends.

As I am new in the town and looking for part-time job to fulfill my daily needs. I find this job is perfect match with my schedule and near my apartment.

I would be grateful if you consider me as a tutor for you children. I look forward to hearing from you.
