Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your suitability, offering additional help, and providing reasons for wanting the job. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention your teaching experience, providing a specific example of a teaching method or a success story would have strengthened your suitability. Additionally, the explanation for wanting the job is a bit blunt; focusing more on your passion for education or cultural exchange would be more persuasive than focusing on your personal financial survival. Overall, the response is relevant and covers the requirements well.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5

The letter is logically organized with clear paragraphing. Each paragraph focuses on a specific aspect of the prompt, which helps the reader follow your ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Therefore', 'Apart from', and 'In that way' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or abrupt. For example, the shift to your personal financial situation in the fourth paragraph could be smoother. The use of referencing is generally clear, and the letter follows a standard formal structure, which contributes to a coherent overall flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'renowned', 'cultivate', and 'migrated'. There are some minor inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'offspring' (which sounds overly clinical or biological in this context; 'children' is more natural) and 'survival' (which sounds a bit dramatic for a job application). You also use the idiom 'killing two birds with a stone', though the correct idiom is 'killing two birds with one stone'. Despite these minor slips, your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly throughout the letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. Examples include 'I writing this' (should be 'I am writing'), 'I obtain degree' (should be 'I obtained a degree'), 'how handle' (should be 'how to handle'), and 'I will responsible' (should be 'I will be responsible'). While these errors are frequent, they do not impede communication, and the reader can easily understand your message. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of auxiliary verbs.
