Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your suitability, offering additional help, and stating your reasons for wanting the job. However, the development of these ideas is quite basic. For instance, while you mention your experience and patience, these points could be expanded with specific examples of how you have handled teaching situations in the past. The tone is generally appropriate for a letter, but it lacks the formal structure expected in a professional application. To improve, ensure each bullet point is developed into a full, well-supported paragraph rather than a single, dense block of text.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is coherent, but the lack of paragraphing makes it difficult to follow the progression of your ideas. You have used some cohesive devices like 'moreover', 'in addition to it', and 'although', but these are sometimes used mechanically or with incorrect punctuation. The flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by run-on structures. To reach a higher band, you should organize your letter into distinct paragraphs: one for the introduction, one for each bullet point, and a closing. This will help the reader navigate your arguments more effectively and improve the overall structure of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your message clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'advertisement', 'experience', and 'discipline'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'clear doubts without any kind of fair' (likely meaning 'fear') and 'in the absence of you'. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. To improve, try to incorporate more precise collocations and avoid informal phrasing. Expanding your range of synonyms and using more sophisticated transitions will help you convey your points with greater professional impact.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'teaching skills is very crucial'), missing articles (e.g., 'for child'), and incorrect pronoun usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with run-on sentences and improper capitalization of 'i'. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction, ensuring proper capitalization, and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will significantly improve the accuracy of your future writing.
