Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses all three bullet points, but the development of ideas is very limited. The explanation of suitability is brief, and the reasons for wanting the job are stated in a simplistic, transactional manner. Furthermore, the response is significantly under the 150-word minimum requirement, which severely impacts the ability to fully develop the response. To improve, you should expand on your teaching philosophy, provide more detail about the 'extra' help you can offer, and express your motivation in a more professional and persuasive tone.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter follows a basic structure with an opening, body, and closing. However, the paragraphing is insufficient, and the flow between ideas is somewhat mechanical. While you use a few cohesive devices like 'Moreover', the overall progression of the letter feels disjointed due to the brevity of the sentences. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single clear theme and use a wider variety of linking words to connect your sentences more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is functional but basic. Phrases like 'grab this job' and 'at free of cost' are either informal or slightly unnatural in this context. There are also minor errors, such as 'extra curriculum activitis' (extracurricular activities). The range of vocabulary is limited, which prevents a more professional tone. You should aim to incorporate more precise terminology related to education and professional correspondence to demonstrate a better command of the language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The letter contains several grammatical errors, including '10 year of experience' (should be '10 years of experience'), 'hoe to deal' (spelling error for 'how'), and 'teacher who can teach' (missing article). The sentence structures are mostly simple, with very little attempt at complex grammatical forms. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors and the lack of structural variety limit the score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and proofreading for basic spelling mistakes.
