You have seen an advertisement from a couple, who live in Australia, for someone to teach their two children your language for a year. Write a letter to the couple. In your letter

• explain why you think you would be suitable for the job
• say what else you could do for the family
• give your reasons for wanting the job

Dear Sir,

I hope this email finds you well. I am Sam, and I am writing this letter in reference to your advertisement published in The Times of Australia regarding an English language tutor for your wards.

Currently, I am studying literature in university along with English as my main subject. I scored first position last year in my main subject. Henceforth, I will be the best teacher for your children for the English language. Apart from being a tutor, I can also babysit during the times when you are not around. Also, I know how to do home chores and cooking, which I can manage doing when your young ones are sleeping.

I really need this job, as I have to support my family financially and gain some experience in teaching. As my summer holidays are approaching, I can fully devote myself to this job. I am enclosing my mark sheets and police clearance certificate along with the letter. I will be waiting to hear back from you.
