Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points: suitability, additional help, and reasons for wanting the job. However, the development of these ideas is limited by language barriers. For example, the explanation of suitability is vague, and the mention of 'extra activity' is not clearly linked to the family's needs. The tone is somewhat inconsistent for a formal application, and the purpose of the letter is occasionally obscured by grammatical errors. To improve, you should provide more specific details about your teaching methodology and clearly articulate how your presence would benefit the children beyond just language instruction.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical. For instance, the transition 'Many times I did extra work' does not logically connect to the previous paragraph. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'This time is very pheomeneon for the family,' where the meaning is difficult to interpret. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition') would help create a smoother flow between your ideas and improve the overall logical progression.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and often inaccurate, which hinders the clarity of your message. There are several word-choice errors, such as 'achieved awared' instead of 'received an award' and 'pheomeneon' used incorrectly. The range of vocabulary is limited, relying on simple structures that do not demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to professional applications and teaching, and ensure you are using words in their correct grammatical form. Expanding your range of descriptive adjectives and professional terminology will significantly enhance your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'You lived in Australia for last two years' (tense error), 'I did master in language course' (article and preposition errors), and 'I can doing my field job' (verb form error). While you attempt some complex ideas, the lack of control over basic sentence structures and verb tenses makes the writing difficult to follow. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement, correct tense usage for past and present events, and the proper use of articles to improve your accuracy.
